Bordeaux is a vast vineyard. At the top it has the world’s most sought after wines but with such a large production, greater than the entire Australian wine industry, the selection definitely spans the full gamut. Value is not always a word associated with the region but here is a fine example of just that. The classic combination of a petit chateau from a very fine vintage. The blend is 50% Merlot 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 20% Cabernet Franc all good news in a Merlot favouring year like 2010.
